"Will the problems of the elections of 2000 and 2002 be repeated in 2004?," presented by Dick C. Nelson
12:00 noon
Wesley Foundation (part of the Science and Theology series)
This presentation will begin with the playing of a videotape segment that discusses some of the lesser-known problems that occurred in the presidential election of 2000. That video will be supplemented by the contents of an article that explores a variety of technical and manipulation problems that may have occurred in various elections in 2002. The question for discussion will be: If history in any significant degree repeats itself in 2004, will the citizenry be able to trust the results of the US election?
