The Indy Artists' Peace Project presents "THE INDY PEACE-ART FESTIVAL" 6:00 pm-8:00 pm. Glendale Branch Library (6101 N. Keystone Ave., Indianapolis) The Indy Peace-Art Festival will incorporate live performances from several Indiana-based creative artists, with a strong message of peace, nonviolence, and reconciliation. Performers include; guitarist/singer Marq Johansen, poets Jeff Matheus & J.L Kato, storyteller Khabir Shareef, and classical guitarist Dan Henkel. There will also be multi-media visual art on display from Dean & Lisa Habegger, and a special peace message from Ryan Ahlgrim, pastor of First Mennonite Church of Indianapolis. Free massages will be given courtesy of New Age People. All ages welcome. Free admission for all, but donations will be accepted. |
