The meeting will feature "Eyes on the Prize: America's Civil Rights Years 1954-1965, Volume 2 Fighting Back (1957-1962)" This is an excellent series, narrated by Julian Bond, that includes much original footage, as well as interviews with many prominent Civil Rights leaders and people involved in the Civil Rights movement

C) Alternatives to Military Recruiting Committee: How can we work together on this issue?: 30 minutes

D) Future IPJN Conference Calls and Meetings: 15 minutes.

"The War on Iraq & U.S. Foreign Policy," a public lecture by Van Gosse, History Department, Franklin & Marshall College

Professor Gosse is a scholar/activist who specializes in contemporary U.S. history and foreign policy. He was an organizing director of Peace Action and monitored elections in El Salvador for the Center for Democracy in the Americas in the 1990's. He has published books such as Where the Boys Are: Cuba, Cold War American,And the Making of a New Left; A movement of Movements: The New Left in America, 1955-1975. He is currently working on a book entitled Black Power in White America; Reconstructiong African American Politics in the 20th Century.

Presented by the Committee on Peace Studies at Purdue University.
